Thank you Shimoji-san for your tour. It was a valuable experience to learn many details about the Battle of Okinawa and hear people’s stories. Following Himeyuri girls’ path helped me see the history of spaces. The most strange feeling is the contradiction of beautiful Okinawa nature and the tragedies that occupy those places.
